Dr. Scott Boden Diplomate, American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery
Dr. Boden earned his Medical Degree from the esteemed State University of New York at Buffalo after earning departmental honors for his undergraduate work at Vassar. After a residency at the University of Connecticut/ St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Dr. Boden served as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Seeking to focus his medical training on a passion for hair transplantation surgery, Dr. Boden completed the prestigious MHR Hair Transplantation Fellowship, under the direction of Dr. Matt Leavitt. "Medical Hair Restoration has the preeminent hair transplant training program in the world," Dr. Boden stated, "I have studied and trained with some of the most respected and renowned experts in the field of hair transplantation surgery." Because of Dr. Boden's comprehensive medical training, coupled with the artistry and surgical skill he demonstrated while completing the MHR Fellowship, Dr. Leavitt invited him to join the Medical Hair Restoration team of surgeons, making him one of only three Fellowship-trained hair transplant surgeons in all of New England. By utilizing precise, meticulous skills and customizing a unique surgical plan for each patient, Dr. Boden is able to create soft, natural looking hair lines that turn back the hands of time. After nearly ten years of working in the intense environment of a hospital Emergency Department, Dr. Scott Boden found himself drawn to the field of hair transplantation. Because of his own personal experience as a hair transplantation patient, Dr. Boden can identify with his patients' concerns and frustrations about their hair loss. "My hair loss made me look older than I felt and I am so happy that I could reverse this sign of aging," he said, "As a hair transplant surgeon, I am able to utilize my surgical skills and aesthetic judgment to help people feel better about themselves."
